Who we are

A Shared Space for Advancing Feminist Foreign Policy

FFP Accountability is designed and managed by the Feminist Foreign Policy Collaborative (the Collaborative), a shared space for feminists working across government, civil society and philanthropy to collectively strategize and advance feminist approaches to foreign policy. The initial design and accountability cycle of this project was supported by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Government of France.

Meet the Team

The accountability framework was designed by Emilia Blancarte Jaber, with inputs from Lyric Thompson, Jillian Montilla, Spogmay Ahmed and members of the Global Partner Network for Feminist Foreign Policy. The website was designed by Alexia Keller.

What we track

Commitments Made, Progress Measured

The first cycle of FFP Accountability tracks commitments made at the Fourth Ministerial Conference on Feminist Foreign Policies, hosted by the Government of France on October 22 and 23, 2025. Documentation of commitments from future conferences will depend on available funding for this project.

A global network

Designed to Reflect Diverse Perspectives

To ensure that the accountability framework is responsive and takes into account diverse perspectives, the Feminist Foreign Policy Collaborative sought inputs from members of its Global Partner Network for Feminist Foreign Policy. This network is a space for learning and exchange, comprising over 100 civil society organizations, governments and individuals committed to advancing the principles of feminist foreign policy around the globe.
