Origin story
Towards A More Equal World
The FFP Ministerial Conference started back in 2022, when the German Federal Foreign Office organized the first foreign ministers' meeting on feminist foreign policy. Since then, an FFP Ministerial Conference has been organized once a year by a different host government, each building on the momentum of the last.
Launched in 2026, FFP Accountability tracks commitments made at the Fourth Ministerial Conference on Feminist Foreign Policies (Paris, October 2025).

Commitments Identified
Fourth Ministerial Conference takes place in Paris, where FFP Accountability is officially announced as a commitment by the Government of France and the Feminist Foreign Policy Collaborative. Commitments by other states and multilateral institutions are identified and documented.
June 2026
FFP Accountability Launch
Fifth Ministerial Conference to be hosted by the Government of Spain. Midpoint progress report to be published. New commitments are identified and documented, pending sufficient human and financial resources to continue the project.
Late 2026
Final Progress Report Publication
Final accountability report published following the one-year anniversary of the Fourth Ministerial Conference hosted by the Government of France. Pending the availability of new funds, a new accountability cycle begins.
